What is Pineapple Express?
Pineapple Express is one of the few strains most people know by name before they’ve ever tried it. The 2008 stoner comedy made it famous, and growers made it real. Today it’s a staple, especially in vapes, where its tropical flavor carries well.
At HZY Goods in East Orange, Pineapple Express has been on our menu almost every week since spring, mostly as vape disposables and infused pre-rolls.
Pineapple Express genetics & lineage
Pineapple Express is a cross of Trainwreck, a fast-hitting, sativa-leaning hybrid, and Hawaiian, a tropical sativa. Trainwreck brings the energy; Hawaiian brings the fruit.
If you like Pineapple Express, other sativa-leaning hybrids like Blue Dream are a good next try.
